What does your PTO package look like?
I have 20 vacation days, 3 personal, 11 federal holidays, 8 sick days, 2 child care plus other volunteer and bereavement etc.

Can we post PTO balances on company website why or why not?

I have PTO to use by the end of the year, or I’ll lose it. I’m worried that it will effect my low utilization if I use it. What should I do?

Anyone else get terrible sick after leaving a toxic job? I left my old job earlier this year. Prior to me leaving, I had been dealing with some stomach issues, mainly due to stress, not eating regularly or balanced. I started my new job in the Spring and this summer, my stomach issue flared up pretty severely. Bad enough that I’m on multiple meds and taken so much time off of work being sick. I guess my stomach was like “let’s wait until she finds a safe work environment and then get sick.”

Need some thoughts. Received an offer from a well established company as a manager role doing HR analytics, and accepted the offer a week ago. A day ago received another offer from pwc. The salaries are the same, except I receive more vacation from the other company. Today I received an increase in the pwc offer (base rate) and I’m unsure what to do. Econometrics major here and I took a pass/fail discrete math class in 2014 (my sophomore fall). Was going through depression, skipped the final exam and failed the course. Have to brag for a moment, at my firm the difference in payout from 29k to 30k in revenue is large. For the first time my recurring monthy trails are over 20k. Life just got a WHOLE lot easier.
