Has anyone had a child after feeling literally zero connection to children before? What was your experience once you had a child? I met my niece for the first time this weekend, and I felt…nothing. She was a baby. That’s it. My husband is over the moon in love (he was SO good with her), but I didn’t feel a single thing. I’ve been on the fence about having children (I would love to have an older child, but I feel too selfish for a baby), and this experience made me feel like an absolute failure.

Looking for firms/areas where to work on “people” and “org” topics. No longer at BCG left as a sr. Principal to join industry, learnt a fair bit but realize people topics are the space I thrive in and wondering if coming back to consulting would be interesting. Any recommendations on firms who focus a lot on those areas?
