How much work do you actually do in the last two weeks after giving notice? And relatedly- my firm has a hard few days a week in the office, would it be ok to say I'll be working remote the second week? I am planning to move during the second week and wondering if I can swing it lol

Your only responsibility is to make an effort to transfer your matters to other people. I wouldn’t do much more than that.

Working remote the second week sounds reasonable to me. What’s the worst they could do?

like

To the extent possible, wrap up outstanding projects and transfer projects you can’t get done within the two week period. Say no to any new matters, no matter how tempting it is to say yes.

I made that mistake and ended up working a decent amount in the last two weeks. Partner kind of insisted I take it ok and I was afraid to say no for fear of burning bridges. In hindsight, I should have said “sorry, too busy wrapping up other big projects”.

Hello everyone,
I am second guessing as to what my next role should be. I am currently working at Panasonic Avionics Corp. as NOC Tier 1 support and 36 years old. I'm wondering if I should continue to work as a support engineer or become a recruiter.

Support engineer - because I love love tech and enjoy doing what I do.

Technical recruiter - When I was hired at Panasonic Avionics, the recruiter gave me a life line, and I would like to do the same for others like me.

Thank You
