Hi,
Recently, I got an offer from Microsoft and the team is Dynamics 365 Globalization team. Could anyone let me know how is the work culture and tech stack in the team?
They are offering less as compared to my other offers. That is why i am trying to understand more about the work in teams?
Thanks Microsoft

I left as a 2nd year for 200K base, 10% bonus, v generous equity.
HCOL West Coast tech.

I’d take the market base pay + some equity / bonus as set out on lawyer whisperer. Rather than pay, the industry, company, products, and team are more important to me. If I’m leaving big law salary, I want to know I’m developing my career in the direction I want.
HCOL and I’d go back to 1L market from when I started ($160k). Might even do less if it was a 9-5 LOL
Currently a third year in HCOL area - I would take 170K and above
10-15%

4th year. HCOL area, won’t leave for less than $200k base, 15-20% bonus... any equity is gravy.
Currently in NYC, co 2018:
-for a true phone it in boring paper pushing job that is no more than 40 hours a week I’d need ~170k all in. This also sounds boring and I don’t think I want that anyway.
-for a standard “good” job (i.e. full week with no or very rare weekend work) I’d want ~200k or maybe a little more all in.
-for something more intense than the above I’d want to be clearing ~250k. That said, current gig isn’t miserable so would only leave for the middle option.
