Adding on to this, when should I reach back out on the status of my application?

Are you coming in with a bachelors and do you have any experience? Also what city are you going to be in (and if you don’t want to give the exact one, what’s a similarly priced city?)

I’m coming in with a bachelors in health, graduating with a MHA in 2 months. I’m looking for remote jobs primarily but open to Chicago commute.

Then I think the salary is fine. If you don’t hear by Friday morning maybe you can reach out then so it’s at least before the weekend. Congrats on graduating soon!

Great and thank you!

In Minneapolis that would be a steep ask for a new grad, but since your in Chicago it might be a little more so I'd say it's fair. It isn't outrageous especially if you have an internship or 2.

Side note : One thing I learned early in my career was holding off on sharing your number and putting the question in their court by awaking then whats "budgeted" for the position. :)

That is a fair salary request. Have you followed up? I would follow up if you don't hear back soon.

Thank you both! I did follow up, the hiring manger went in a different direction.
