How many leaves and holidays are there in HCL?
I started working for my company about 6 weeks ago and I was originally hired to work from a specific location closer to my home. I was told the 1st day of my employment that the location “is not ready yet” and that I would be working out of a temp location further from my home. It has been really inconvenient for me to say the very least and the remote option is unavailable to me until after the probation period which is 6 months. How should I approach having this conversation with my director?

Should be a given. RSUs and Bonus should be comp’ed for if leaving early otherwise there’s not much incentive to leave before bonus hits. Often they do this as promising to pay you a full year bonus during bonus cycle instead of an up front but out of your bonus.
It should be pretty standard as VP1 said. My company included it as part of my signing bonus.
Standard and expected. It’s a large part of your income in finance. Companies understand this and usually pro rate your expected bonus or give you a sign on to cover
Hmm but these are for traditional IB and PE firms, right? What about for REPE?
It should apply across the board
Should be standard at any/all companies. If they won’t do it, should make you question their commitment.
