Don't do it if it is on the same engagement. Bad news Bears. Taken from personal experience.

Step 1: Be good looking. .. Sorry bud

Don't dip your pen in the company's ink. Just wait until one of you leaves, which inevitably happens.

Don't do it. Had a thing with my manager and it was a huge mistake

No big deal as long as it doesn't spread like wildfire. Easy to start if you're on the same playing field. Go grab drinks after work.

Just be cool baby

Agreed. Never on the same project. Playing with fire

Nope just nope

Working remotely ... from another country?

I’m a mid-level associate at a V10 and moved from CA to Europe during lockdown. My employer is now one of the firms’ European entities, but I’m only qualified in CA and work mostly West Coast hours.

I get a lot of interesting in-house and lateral opportunities that hire “for the SF office but remotely.” Is it possible to switch firms or go in-house (e.g. Big Tech), but continue living in Europe, earning that sweet USD?

Bamboo Ceiling is a real thing. It’s an invisible force out there. The impact is real. My urge wanting to go for Partner was not strong as I look around me and don’t see too many East Asian at the partnership level. No one to look up to, pick their brain about partnership, learn from or emulate in a predominantly white consulting firm world. But when I did decide that hey why not give it a shot, covid happen, economy is uncertain , and now that window has definitely closed for awhile to get into

Hi Fishes,

I am looking for new opportunities, and recently came across an opening in Bain and Company for profile Associate, Knowledge Management. It is an entry level role, so anyone at Bain and Company can provide me referral for the same?
