Never
Never. There is search and archive for a reason.
This.
My inbox only houses action items I haven’t finished.
Everything else gets folder’d even if it’s to something like “Dumb Work Spam” or “Misc”.
If I have an action item email that isn’t urgent, I put it in a to-to folder so it doesn’t hang out in my inbox stressing me out.
Hold my beer…
Soon it‘s gonna hit the magic number 487,487.
then it’s time to celebrate and maybe even FIRE

Zero inbox
Same here - unread emails trouble me. I action all emails - trash them / add to to-do / respond

When I hit my firm mandate max of like 28gb.
I try and find a GB or 500MB only to have to do it again in a week or two.
Daily
So no one here deletes stuff interesting
Sometimes I report stuff as phishing just bc I’m goofin’.
If someone accepts a meeting invite and sends the email, I usually keep that for reference.

When I get a new job
Daily. Just delete what doesn't need to be there any longer.
My personal inbox: Once every five years.
I daily (mostly) clean my inbox. Work spam gets deleted and anything work / client related goes to a sub-folder.
I try to keep my inbox under 20 items and that’s always my todo.

People like you make me feel…. Inadequate.
Last week I decided I was going to clear out my Inbox every day. I didn’t get through even 1 day of it.
Wait people move things out of their inbox?
when I hit my capacity.
Never. If you haven’t emailed me twice, are you even trying to get my attention?
It’s no wonder so many people respond to email threads that have been resolved halfway through the thread or claim they never got an email with the dismal Outlook management described in this thread.
Never.
