How often do you get three day weekends?

Used to not take vacations since the work never ended, so manager tried to offload me with every other Friday off for several months. Was cool at first, but you get used to it after a few times and just treat it as a new work week instead of a way to reset. I do love the idea of consistently shorter work weeks with longer hours (like nurses have), but this on and off configuration didn't work for me.

Do you mean by the company or self-given? I take at least one 3 day weekend per month, either a PTO day or what the company already had planned (Labor Day, Memorial Day, etc)

Hate it when internal PMO asks me to update my workplan-which should be 1-2hrs but is actually a 5-8hrs job. Let me do my fucking job! Client wants me to get shit done not trackers and it's not urgent

Being black and in consulting is so exhausting. I really feel sorry for the black women. Every suggestion, deliverable, etc. is doubted even if you have a long history of quality work....

My org has been flexible on RTO but has said they want everyone in office for specific meetings we have 2 days every quarter. These meetings work better in person. Travel is reimbursed. I’ve let my direct reports know that aside from those quarterly days, they can do what’s best for them. I have one direct who has been pushing back about the 2 days a quarter b/c he wants 100% remote & never wants to be in an office again. Am I crazy for thinking he’s being ridiculous? It’s 8 days a year total.

I currently have the CSR card as well as the freedom unlimited. Thinking about downgrading the unlimited to just the freedom to take advantage of the 5% bonus categories. Thoughts?

Not so much a meme, but I was parked behind this car. I wonder if this guy doesnt really own a business and thinks a personalized plate with "WRTEOFF" and "Section 179" written in the dirt makes this Jeep Grand Cherokee an "Ordinary and Necessary Business Expense"

Hi Guys, Have 7 years of experience in IT. Just wondering to know if you've an offer from an employer with a Associate Manager Position but the company pay is less than what you earn now. Also, the next employer waited for 5-6 months and in those months your compensation went beyond their offer , what would you do in this situation? Would you negotiate with next employer? Question came in because the next position is Associate Manager but currently I'm working as an engineer. Any suggestions?
