Moved here for an opportunity. The "agency" focus is on sports and the first round of layoffs happened this past week. I dont plan to stay to see myself and my department laid off. Wondering where should I go next, Ive got plenty of experience and I'm more than happy to send my book if needed. Any pointers would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Would you put academic project experience on a resume if you have over a year and a half of work experience in order to show exposure to similar work as the role?

Hello. I’ve recently scheduled an interview for a position as an assistant US attorney, in the civil division. Can anyone give me insight into the nature of this position? The work load / type (the job posting was so broad), the environment, expectations, the opportunity for advancement, etc. I am 4 years post grad, currently practicing in private insurance defense. Any input is appreciated. Thanks!

Current comp 130k, rejected an offer of 150k in the hope of “fishing” for a higher comp. Also the company is very small and I’m concerned it might impact my exit opportunities. Did I made the right decision?
