Usually just one cup in the morning. I used to drink one in the morning and one in the afternoon, but I went cold turkey for three weeks to reset my tolerance and it's worked great. I get way more of a boost from my first cup than I used to and don't seem to need a second after lunch.

If I can go home with energy still in me to take on all my daily chores and tasks I call that a great day.
Morning caffeine is non-negotiable, really the biggest pull for me to get out of bed. Usually around lunchtime I’ll know whether I need an extra boost or not though. Today I 100% need something, but try to make it more the exception than the rule. Can be a slippery slope!

I found out that I enjoy making a good cold brew the day before and drinking it throughout the first hour or 2 in the morning. None of that ugly coffee breath and tastes way better
Caffeine is a drug that makes mundane tasks acceptable. 99% of people would be unable to do their daily jobs otherwise
