How often do you turn off your computer versus just putting it to sleep?

Never, I restart for updates and sleep otherwise

Whenever my skype doesn’t work. So, at least twice a day.

Only turn it off on Thursdays when I travel home. It’s like a mental thing, “packing up and turning work off until tomorrow.” Otherwise, I just close the lid or let it sleep on its own (after I lock it).

You don’t work when you get home on Thursday nights? Lucky

Except for mandatory reboots for updates, I haven't shut mine off since the first startup. Home computer has been running non stop for several years too

Always just close the lid and sleep. Unless something is wrong or a forced update then I’ll restart

I try to turn it off every night. Some of that is a holdover from working on secure computer systems.

Same as my fellow Cap

Restart once a week Friday in the office - rest sleep

I just close it, and once a week it blue screens.
