Some credit cards offer this if you book your trip on them/through their travel site

like

every trip. if i'm not getting overall travel insurance, i purchase the protection for the flight and hotel separately

This was my first time. My babymoon and I was worried last minute my doc may not clear me so I wanted the trip covered. Took a bit to find an insurance that would cover a pregnancy related reason for cancelling.

I purchase when it's an exotic trip or if there's a chance I may need emergency medical evac. If you can get an annual policy it's helpful if you're doing far flung exotic travel.

If you're doing US / Western Europe / Latam, your average credit card has you covered

Hi Fishes,
Want you opinion, Its been more than an year now since I hold my H1B visa, but I don't see any initiative from my organization for my on-site travel.
All I am getting is commitments and extended timelines.
What other options do I have?
Any references?

Credit card application reject question- (I have 720+ credit score and never overborrow nor pay late, decent income)

I was trying to book a flight on Delta, the delta booking site said 400 sub if I applied cc so I did. But the transactions never went through, and as such I have filled that cc application 3+ times. (2 credit check triggered)

Then I gave up and try to book on AA, AA also have some cc benefit so I applied too. AA rejected me immediately.

Just realized I can’t contribute to a Roth since my income is too high (I think). TC ~190k and wife makes around 90k. I’ve only been contributing for a few months now at the advice from a CFP friend (he never asked me what I made). Should I go back to 401k contributions or is there a better option here? I expect my retirement income (via pension) to be higher than my HHI now.

Hello everyone, let me give you some context before my question. I want to work into Robotics and Automation, in Logistics, Vehicles, Defense. Currently studying Math, IT and some Physics. What would be the best breakthrough in that field for a 27 years old (should be my age when I graduate) ? I previously graduated a degree in Chinese studies, hence my age and late entrance in the work force.
I'm awaiting your responses 😁

My best friend took a year off work and just traveled around South America with just a backpack and duffle bag of essentials. He spent about $5 to $10 a night at local hostels and food costs cheaper at local restaurants and shops. He spent roughly $500 a month on room and board. Aside from activities like bungee jumping or live sports events, most of the other activities costs little to nothing. Debating on saving up and just escape for a bit just like that.
