How often does it take on average for a company to get back to you after an interview? I’m going crazy waiting. Personal experiences much appreciated

It honestly depends. I have had some companies who got back to me the next day, others took a week or so. Honestly just email them and be like I have an offer from another firm and need to make a decision ASAP in a nicer way. Is it big 4 or industry?

like

Thanks EY. It’s industry...I know I was the last interviewee, and last week they said they would get back by Friday or “possibly next week.” I thought today at the latest 🤷‍♂️ maybe tomorrow

Not all industry is a well oiled machine. Depends on the levels one must work the hiring process through. there’s no harm in reaching out, but I would relax about it. Keep applying and interviewing elsewhere.

I still haven’t heard back from my interview in summer of ‘18

funny

within a day unless I didn't get it to be honest

I didn’t hear back until 2 weeks later with an offer

Thanks everyone!

You can always send a follow up and express your strong interest in the company. Also talking to the recruiter about your timelines and wishes. At a minimum keep interviewing. I kept interviewing and had 2 offers. I used the second offer as leverage and got an extra 25k.

How some people are clearing interview and then getting into a project even though they don't have any skills, no desire to learn new things, can't perform a very very simple task even though it's already documented clearly, totally burden on team members. They don't even try to do basic troubleshooting when they faced simple issues, rather asks stupid question to junior who is having only 1 years of experience and ask for solution.
I noticed this in every project I joined(Service based company)

Was wondering if anyone here could share thoughts on the topic of third party marketing. Specifically, looking to gauge any appetite for offering coupons/incentives to potential customers through a third party. The third party would distribute these incentives on an action-gated basis to users of a mobile app. Does this model look familiar to anyone? Anyone on the marketing/incentive issuer side see a formulation that would be attractive?

Check the overtime laws for your state!!

I just recently worked 58.6 hours in a week, weekly pay, nice OT profit right? Depends on where you live.

In Iowa, there is no Overtime pay mandate, the overtime pay is at the discretion of the business. I received 58.6 hours of base pay for the week.

If the company makes less than $1 million per year or does not engage in intercontinental sales, the company is not required to pay the overtime rate of time and a half, just your base rate.
