How often have you used a sick day?

Been offered a Recruiter Coordinator role at a company that recently acquired two other companies but is also splitting into two companies. 25% raise, contract to hire at any time, no health/pto/sick benefits until I am made fulltime. I am in a stable long term contract where I am not miserable, just underpaid. Should I make the jump?

How do you respond to all the negativity of childless people? I’ve been working as a mortgage professional for over 3 years now and have found it unfulfilling and draining, even with the industry where it’s currently at. Would returning to school to pursue an MBA or other masters degree afford me the opportunity to make a switch to PE? Have had a few friends in PE and some in consulting say the same.
