How often should I talk to my boss about hiring me full-time? I'm a temp-to-hire currently, and I have been told that sometime this month I should be hired, but have been told the same thing for the past two months. Should I bring it up again? Or just ride it out?

While you're waiting you should be interviewing for full-time positions.

like

Look for a full time employment.
Who is telling you "this month you should be hired" may not be the last one who have a say about hire you or not. Thus, the possibility to stay on the hook for longer than expected is real.

It is easier to tell than do, but be polite, not loyal. Think to yourself and if a colleagues/boss this you are worth something, they will try to keep contact and maybe you will meet again.

When requesting a raise, has an employer ever asked you for the cost of living?
