How often to you expense something that shouldn’t be there? Turned in an expense report this week and on my triple check I noticed an Uber that was supposed to be personal

To avoid issues like this, I only use one card for business expenses and never use it for personal expenses. When it comes to ride share, I use Uber for business and Lyft for personal use.

smart

I do expenses with a spreadsheet to keep track of bigger expenses to make sure each week I’ve accounted for the bigger costs (hotel, Uber to/from airport, car rental) — mainly to Make sure I don’t forget reimbursement. But it also helps me quickly identify charges that *shouldnt* be there. May be a useful tool for you.

Usually don’t triple check it and worried I’ve missed something before

Never.

I think about doing this intentionally sometimes.

However, $25 isn’t worth getting fired over and not to mention the ethical reasons.

Personally, I’d adjust your report - be true to yourself. Don’t be a liar.

Clear it as personal, go back and look at a few weeks or so of expense reports to set your mind at ease. The Uber app is tricky to switch between personal and business (well just have to remember).

But Uber does make it easy to remember where it went - I just search the exact amount in email and it shows me the map and time - then I figure out the right way to expense.

You can retroactively go back at a max of 3 months to make changes.

correct it and then it will be submitted on the next one

I know I am extremely blessed and thankful to god that my parents are kind and allow me this but just want advice please.

I moved back in with my parents in August, and my mom and stepfather have demanded monthly rent. They are in no way poor at this moment in time, and in my opinion it’s f*cked up to demand your child pay rent. I bought a VR headset a couple weeks back and my mom increased the rent because “I can afford it.” Is this normal? I honestly feel used. Fwiw I’ve worked since I was 13, and hustled my entire life.

But she didn’t offer the weekend (which I feel is included in “this week”), didn’t say “lets do another time” or anything like that. Should I take the L and count her as not rly interested 🥲

I have never gone to the gym or really worked out, and want to make a change in my life to start exercising. I'm not sure how to handle post-workout showering though.

First time growing out hair and it's coarse/wavy/dry so it takes days for oils to distribute (so oily scalp) due to pushing off washing -- when I do wash, I shampoo only the scalp and will conditioner the rest of my hair. I'm afraid of overwashing, but if I don't wash my hair after I sweat, it will frizz and poof up. Any advice?
