Same!!! CONGRATULATIONS!!!
That’s awesome to all of you! Just out of curiosity & research purposes, is anyone African American in the 6-figure club, and what age did you get there?

A “six figure salary” in 1980 is $320K today.
(Inversely, $100K today was $31K back then.)
I haven’t reached $320K yet.
This comment broke me, good god is it really that much of a difference
37. Got out of the red and paid off my student loans at 38. Hit 1M in net worth at 45. 2M in net worth at 47.
Nothing crazy. Just started saving aggressively and some of my stock and crypto investments took off . Also when I finally hit six figures I went from making 90k to 250k, and the first five years or so afterwards I didn’t suffer from that much lifestyle creep. I’m a little looser with my spending now though. I’m 49 now, btw.
Jesus Christ I feel old. I’m 39 and just hit it. But I’m not in a big city…
Right there with you. I was 40, but spent years in startups. Low pay, but high stock options… that all ended up being pretty worthless. Now I’m more than happy to take a comfy corporate gig and benefits.
31, too old.
Nah 🖤
Damn, good for all of you! I'm 36 and not there yet. Annoying.
These are your usual one dimensional forums that don’t truly compare life scenarios - I’m sure you’re killing it more on many other fronts.
Total comp was 26, base was 28. This was in CPG brand management.
37...female... If I had stayed large agency / large market it would have happened sooner. The mountains (and work life balance) called so I went mid market and took a longer path. Worth it.
26 total comp
28 base (technically hits my bank this week!)
Last year, 27F at an NYC based agency
Base, or total comp? Total comp for me was about 28, base was when I was 30. It was a good salary, comparably, for my area.
26 base. Really shocked I could be making that much only a few years into my career. Thought money was end all be all, but ended up turning it down bc I didn’t want to “sell my soul” just for money. Took a job with G instead making considerably less, but hopefully will have much better WLB
25 total comp
29 when I switched from agency to in-house.

24 @ $115k + 15% variable bonus (now 26 @ $140k + 20% variable bonus)

At 90k at 24. Hoping to hit 6 figures this year/by 25.
