How good Medpace as a company in healthcare and medical services?
I had 3rd round discussion yesterday and all went good. They finally asked about my np and saying that HR will get back to you soon. If you have any query, then can ask HR. But HR is from Singapore and only communication is possible via email.
Can anybody highlight on this company?
Tech stack - .NET , Azure, Angular, React, SQL, Automation testing, Vulnerability mitigation, Devops pipeline.
Any business analyst from this bowl?

What y'all think about this?

It’s pretty easy if you have a DoorDash or UberEats account.
It also lets you track the delivery of the child.

The amount of pain in inversely proportionate to the amount of drugs (pain killers) you take during and after delivery.
For those who prefer to suffer in the name of "natural delivery", there is no shortage of extremely painful and unpleasant sensations to be had.
Yeah. I wanted to go natural with my first. I was in labor for 29 hours. By the 20th hour I gave up and begged for the epidural. My second was induced and I had the epidural as soon as I could.

Have you ever had constipation that hurt so bad you wanted to end it right there right then? Picture that but the 💩 is 10 times bigger and oddly shaped and takes hours longer to come out and rips you a new one on the way out. And once it’s over everyone applauds your success!
I’ve had babies with and without medication (one of the 💩 didn’t give me any time to get medicated). The pain I mentioned above is unmedicated. With medication just feels like a regular long ass 💩.

Haha so yea it’s like the most intense period cramps ever. Like someone squeezing your insides. Didn’t feel much with the epidural though so don’t be too scared!!

Also, after the baby is born, the pain doesn't just stop. Like the first pee after birth was 😱. Omg and don't get me started on the first poop.
If you tear (and I did badly) no one thinks about this, but you have to pee on your stitches until they heal. Like imagine having to pee on an open wound anywhere else on your body. And they're like Oh here's a squirt bottle to help.
And then like... Stuff falls out of you. Big clots for weeks. And when you call freaking out because a big clot just plopped out, the doc is like "Don't call unless it's the size of a softball." Um what??
You basically get hit by a truck and go about your merry way. It's a horribly dehumanizing experience.

And then everyone wants to visit and ignore you while taking your baby away from you. And if you don't want them to, they tell you that you have ppd. Like no I just want to hold the baby I just made because that's what I'm biologically programmed to do.
And then the pressure to "bounce back."
I love my son. But it is HARD.

Your vagina grows from a size of ping pong to watermelon so yeah bro it hurts
Ey1 what are you working with? 😭
Depends. What are your birth goals? Are you wanting to do it with minimal interventions? Are you wanting an epidural?

I’m in the minority here but it hurt less than expected. Def have experienced worse pain from cuts and falls. It felt like having the worst diarrhea ever. Had a natural birth bc went to the hospital too late since I expected it to hurt more by then oops.

I would say postpartum and breastfeeding were hell for me. Does this make you excited for motherhood?

I have had three babies. First was an emergency c section without time to labor because of placental abruption. Second was successful VBAC, but with some induction to keep things progressing, but no pain meds. Third was zero interventions, including no pain meds. The third was the best for me. No tearing, no surgery, felt incredibly powerful.
I would highly recommend Mindful Birthing by Nancy Bardacke. One of my key takeaways from that book was to keep in mind that contractions are like a wave - they go up, up, up in pain, but then they crest and come back down and you get a break. Embrace the break - really, your body is flooded with oxytocin and I found myself smiling like a dope between contractions. Once you get to the last couple centimeters of dilation it gets pretty awful in terms of pain, like you’re being ripped apart, but there are still breaks between contractions to catch your breath. That was what was hardest with my second - they had given me a drip of pitocin and I stopped having breaks between contractions. That was awful.
But, if having babies and raising them has taught me anything, it is to expect the unexpected and be prepared for all of your well laid plans to be tossed. Life with kids is messy, but it’s worth it for me.

It hurts. I did one kid with an epidural and one with a water bath. I’m done having kids, but if I ever had an oops, I’d go with the epidural.

I ended up having three because I was in labor for forty five hours. And it only takes care of pain in the bag vag area. Doesn't do anything for a baby hooking your ribs with its toes. 😱
My plan was to do an unmedicated delivery, that plan lasted all of about 20 minutes. Worst pain by far that I’ve ever experienced and if you have the pleasure of getting to 9cm and then the nurse realizes the baby is breech and you have an emergency c-section, you get the best of both worlds., pain from labor and pain from major surgery. Thought I was going to die the night after the birth because I was in so much pain even with the medication. I will say second scheduled c-section was a million times better. I swear I had PTSD after giving birth the first time. HOWEVER, everyone is different! Would I tell this to a friend who is expecting, probably not. I would say have a plan and then a back up plan! Go for meds and you will do great!

I was shaking uncontrollably from pain the night after I gave birth. Needed vicodin.
It hurts - get pain medicine - you quickly forget
Chief
I have very low pain tolerance and got an epidural, 10/10 recommend.
Pro
Fine if you get the epidural
Totally manageable with epidural. I cannot imagine without and admire those women who tried natural birth.

FWIW, if you end up with a C-section, they are not terrible to recover from in my experience. I made the mistake of assuming one would never happen to me - I didn’t read that section of any books, didn’t pay attention when that was discussed in my birthing class. Then bam - emergency c-section following pre-eclampsia / HELLP Syndrome, then had a breach baby so had another one, then by the third baby it was just going to be a third C. Lol
They were all perfectly navigable and not terrible to recover from, though, so if that ends up being your path, it won’t be the end of the world. But do do your homework about that possibility! Don’t be like me!
Every birth and every pregnancy is different — you can’t really judge others! I had two unmedicated labors. I would say going en pointe in ballet was 85% as painful as the first labor. The second one was more intense but <90 minutes long so really didn’t process pain in the same way.
If I had a third I’d stick with unmedicated unless my experience was materially worse.
When you are pushing the baby out, is it almost the same feeling as taking a dump after being constipated for hours?
Pro
It is a huge relief to be able to start pushing, but I’ve never gotten the ring of fire from a poop.
The videos surely look painful 😏
