Those best places to work lists are bought and paid bullshit.

It's not necessarily the prestige as it is the networks. B4 is a proven commodity with networks that range wide. It's the fact that companies trust B4 as a work product and having B4 on your resume will get you in to just about any interview you desire. Once you're in the interview do you have a better chance than a mid tier employee of landing the job? Probably not. But you'll have an easier time landing the interview.

Agree with Manager 1, it's understood that big 4 is a good place to start, learn the craft, and gain the discipline that most people need to be successful. All PA can do that but big 4 has more alumni and thus opens doors. I'm in industry now and typically seek those 2-3 years out of school... let the firms pay to train them up and I can rotate them into the business (from IA) after another 2-3 years, some laterally and some a Mgr. title. It's a good model and I see more big 4 candidates; however, I've had some some stellar non-big 4 hires.

Why do you think everyone cares about your opinion so much that you feel the need to respond with paragraphs to every single post? ^

I’m working for a big 4 and have a suggestion to encourage folks to return to the office. I find I’m more productive overall if I spend a few days a week in the actual home office. However…I don’t want to pay a couple hundred a month on parking. How about reimbursing parking? That would be a valuable perk…versus free bagels and garbage food.
