Ambassador is 100 SPG nights, highest platinum tier. Their value add is debatable ... my first guy was useless, but the new girl I’ve got is incredibly proactive & helpful (e.g. coordinates my hotel bookings when I have to change cities same day, surprises me with free bottles of wine / champagne, etc). It really depends!

Almost 4 weeks in and my status is still wrong. It was correct for the first ~1 day and then bumped down a level. Shouldn’t be hard as all my nights last year were SPG. This is ridiculous.

This merger blows. SPG had a legit no blackout policy but Marriott says they do no blackout but they have inventory control which is essentially the same shit. Such deceptive tactic. 😡😡
