How quickly do people from ClearView get promoted? Is analyst —> EM really sub-4 years? Or is this just an extreme example

When do partners decide when an associate is good enough to make partner? I’m a senior and it is extremely clear to me when an associate has it or doesn’t, and moreover it doesn’t take eight years to figure it out; it takes just one or two matters for me to know if they’re adding value or are ultimately just a commodity. It’s hard for me to avoid the conclusion that associates are largely being strung along by partners who are going to can them at some point, long after that decision is made.

Just a question for those here. What does anyone see as a job outlook for a pharmacy technician that has 15 years of experience and is studying for the CPhT? I would like to return to 100% remote work and, understandably, most job postings that are about my caliber are requiring the cert. I am thinking of possibly pivoting into an IT job that would be fully remote later on down the road, but I’m interested in seeing what is possible now (and an average pay) for someone with my experience.

I am a project manager with the strong desire to transition into product management but I’m feeling a little discouraged. Every opportunity I come across mentions 7-10 years experience. I just started training for the Google UX certification with hopes that may better prepare me. Any other suggestions? Words of advice on how to best make this transition?

Obviously consulting is a very big field for a reason. Curious how consultants consult on things they don’t have expertise on? A lot of companies have a lot of PhD level of subject level experts, what do consulting firms provide that the corporations don’t provide internally? I remember I was surprised talking to a friend who worked for pwc consulting consulting on a chemical project of a company, since he def is not a chemist by any means.

Does anyone know what type of company GlobalData Plc is and what their projects are like? Might be submitting an application soon so wanted to learn more.
