I’m currently in B4 audit but getting tired of it and am considering Deloitte ARA/EY FAAS/ PwC CMAAS. I’d like to work on technical accounting or reporting, eventually moving to industry as Controller or FRP Manager. Thoughts on best path among the three? Also looking for more reasonable hours, aka no busy season if possible. I’m on the East coast and have always worked in a variety of industries if that makes any difference.
Advice from PwC fish needed.. I posted a week ago about an offer for an A1 “experienced associate” from PwC -team is digital assurance transparency. Even tho I thought that sounded off, I ended up accepting. My letter just said Associate @ 68k base. Now I have access to People Path & my job level says A2. So is PwC on a cohort model, or not? Is there anything I can do here? I pushed back hard on the A1 vs A2 thing b4 signing and the recruiter was adamant I would be an A1

Upon receiving a visa approval for a skilled worker visa applied outside UK , what’s the procedure for receiving the BRP ?
I read that the vignette stamped on passport has only 30days validity within which the BRP has to be collected in person on arrival in UK! Is there a possibility to receive it via mail service or have it collected by sponsor/employer ?

It’s very possible to start as a new analyst and get to senior manager in 6 years. Progression from that point on is more challenging because clients don’t really want to be buying advisory services from anyone under the age of 40.
Definitely not fixed based on tenure
