I’ve been a fed for 13 years within DoD and am in my early 40’s. Not sure when a promotion is on the horizon for me as I’m a top performer.

What are thoughts of leaving the fed for a company like Deloitte?

I made a case for a raise more than a year ago. Wasn't told no, but was told to be patient. I asked what goals I needed to hit but wasn't given any. My annual review is coming back up. What can I do?

NYC is the main hub of advertising in the US, a lot of people move there in order to establish themselves (groundbreaking insight, I know).
