How rough of a life is post MBA MBB? In terms of hours/work life balance

Hello All. I have 7 years of work exp in Data analytics & Data engineering team. Right now managing a team of 12. Will PMP certification help in career growth ? Needed some view points.

How typical or common is Nonprofit consulting for post MBA goals (long term)? Wondering how to position this for CBS and Stern and how to have this stand out among a million other consulting apps

SHRM vs HRCI? I haven’t heard as much on HRCI HR Management certification. Do people ever get both? Does help to even have the certification from HRCI?

Is CIPD a valuable certification? Is it appreciated in Europe only or US too? I have an opportunity to get it but not sure if knowledge is really up to date and worth time spent.

I have seen colleagues leave to strategic finance roles at f500 companies. What would the day to day look like for those roles? Focus areas and wlb.

Is it easier to move to an UMM/Megafund from MBB or from a LMM fund?

A CD of my old agency doesn’t make cool stuff (he’s a ‘keeping shitty clients happy with mediocre work’ guy) but behaves on social media like he’s the man. He takes credit for the agency’s best work, or at least makes it look like he contributed.

No one in his team is happy and a lot of people burn out, but on social, he talks about work life balance as if he is one of the good guys.

It bothers me. He’s presenting himself as a great guy on social while reality is something else. 😡

I would like to transfer my career to Healthcare Data Analytics. I’m gaining my data analytics certification by the ending of November. I’ve also worked and still currently working for great healthcare company’s. I also have lots of great healthcare data experience. My only concern is no degree. What can I say to recruiters that will WOW them or replace the fact I have no degree because that’s what most of these company’s require.

My company cut staff to 4 days/wk to save funds. I was getting requests from coworkers for docs needed urgently on our day off (fridays). I would oblige them. But then, I learned that those same coworkers had been put back to 5 days because they were deemed “essential“. I felt foolish and decided to stop working on fridays. One EVP (not the GC) in particular has been aggressively texting/calling me on fridays. How Do I tactfully respond? My out-of-office email is not enough of a hint...

Is negotiating offers the norm now? I’ve been at my company awhile and at the time I was hired they said they don’t do negotiations, take it or leave it and they’d offer the next person. I do believe we renegotiate now, however I’m not sure if it’s the rule, the exception, or somewhere in the middle?

What is a reasonable amount to accept to settle a case with undisputed liability? Let’s say for example potential damages are realistically $100k-1M. Let’s say cost of defense is $200k. No chance of them getting out on SJ or a MTD. Is cost of defense a reasonable starting point? It seems like an offer below that would not be serious.
