Does anyone have advice/ experience with disclosing or advocating for your ADHD support needs in highly toxic environments? Or getting formal disability accommodations?

I’m on a VERY toxic project where I really need accommodations but I am scared there will be repercussions if I personally disclose my ADHD like I have on past projects.

I submitted an HR request for accommodations and it’s been ignored for over a week.

I really can’t take another week of spending every day crying.

December feels like a country song. Two dogs died on the 1st. A hard rain exposed latent roof damage and collapsed ceiling in two rooms. Stove, fridge and water heater all went out on the same day last week. Yesterday my spouse said they needed a break from the chaos through the holidays and left. Today a positive covid test. And 7 deals trying to close before year end requiring my full attention so none of the aforementioned can get any attention.

Associates, don’t let this become you.

Y’all just a quick vent - I am 10 weeks 4 days and just really f*cking tired of being tired and nauseous. Work is like pulling teeth right now with a difficult client and a director/partner who aren’t respecting boundaries particularly well with some utilization BS on top of it. I have anxiety and ADHD just normally and this is our first child (but second pregnancy after one miscarriage earlier this year). Just uuugggghhhhh. Tips for coping appreciated.

I’ve had several great interviews with a few diff companies. Or rather, I thought they went well but then I get the dreaded “thanks but we made the difficult decision to move forward with other candidates”. I’ve asked for feedback but so far have gotten none.

I know it’s competitive out there, but I also don’t know how I can either position myself better, seek positions that are more aligned with my expertise/experience, or work on improving certain areas.

Any advice on how to proceed?

Can someone help me understand what’s going on? I’m entering the search for a primary residence in the Bay Area and every completed sale I review seems to be following some unwritten rule. Most of the houses are being listed for $900k-$1mil and then are selling for $1.4-1.5mil. At this point it just seems silly - why not just list closer to the price it’s going to end up at?? I understand they want interested parties to bid it up, but just seems crazy with sales going 150%.

So many people I know (including myself) have put in their 2 weeks notice and are switching companies/firms (across various industries).
