Thinking about a career change from insurance defense to district attorney. It will be a SIGNIFICANT decrease in income for the first few yrs, but I can't think of any other "con." I don't like what I'm doing & think I'd like being a prosecutor. Pros for me include more trial experience/client contact, less hours & more time for a future family, no billing, no travel, loan forgiveness, and generally feeling like I'm actually helping people.

Newer (<5 years, untenured) SPED teacher here... teaching SPED with more than one subject assignment is literally impossible, let alone the 3-4 I’ve been given pretty consistently over the years. You’re asked to do twice what is even remotely possible and then harassed by admins when you don’t do one (1) of those things. It seems like no one has advice because they’ve accepted this as reality.
