Hi Fishes, Right now I'm bursting my brains to make a decision which company to join and request your help. I have an offer from tcs for 13.5LPA and nagarro for 18LPA both for the role of associate project manager. I have been a lead at infosys with 8yoe. Keeping in mind that this is the first time i will be a manager please suggest which company is best to learn and secure as the global recession has already begun. Are there roles posted for your title? I would arrange a call with a recruiter and float what you’ve heard as what you’re looking for and see how they respond. That quickly confirms the market for you and will give you more confidence. Then I think it depends on your relationship with your manager. Is this something you can raise w/them confidentially? It’s tricky when you do like where you are because I have seen enough from this app to be worried to move. Me personally, I would rather make a bit less and never work a weekend but that might be an unpopular opinion. Your manager can help understand if you can get a salary review /adjustment in your next quarterly cycle. And if you are unhappy still, then get an offer and present it to them but you have to be prepared to walk or stick w/your current salary.
Ps:
Not an excuse for underpaying you but any emotion in the comp convo is not ideal.
