Can transfer 180 days after I-140 approval. The reason for this is if you leave the employer and they withdraw the I-140, USCIS is not required to honor the I-140’s priority date unless 180 days have passed.

I thought you could only change after 485 was pending for 6 months. Unless OP is restarting his GC process at new employer and just wants to port 140 priority date.

You can’t submit a i485 BEFORE a i140.
Maybe do a quick google first, even before paying to consult a lawyer lol.
You need an approved I-140 and have your I-485 pending for 6 months to be able to transfer.
