As someone who has only worked at EY and has no other work experience or “passion,” how do I begin looking? I’m a high performer in CA with a cpa and working in tax but I don’t feel like I have enough time for myself with all the extra work from people leaving during the never ending busy seasons. I’m in my mid twenties and feel like work is my life. I think I’ll be satisfied with six figures for a while, which I’d be pretty close to after my raise in October anyways, and 40 hour work weeks.

first call with SF CSG Recruiter is scheduled for Senior Architect role. Appreciate insights from you all.
1. How is work life balance in CSG?
2. What is the typical billability target? Does one have to market oneself for billability or the Practice lead takes care of it?
3. Honestly- I have seen SF people pushing for products which are really not needed by clients. I can never do such a thing - so is there an expectation from the AE’s that Architects should do so?

What is some “quality” screen time we can use with our toddler other than Miss Rachel (who we love)? I am trying to reduce screen time with him after relying on it a fair amount, but not a crazy amount, the first few months after my second was born during nursing, putting her down for nap, etc. I’d like to all but eliminate anything other than educational content other than the occasional 15 mins of Disney movie snuggled on the couch.
Has anyone here gone from a Workday background to ServiceNow? Curious about the pros and cons from an implementer standpoint. TIA!
There is a lot of discrimination in my school in regards to LGBTQ and gender representation. My schools dress code does not say anything about wearing gloves or black nail polish and I got in trouble for wearing that. My boss said “I’ve never seen a man wear gloves before.” Am I a jerk for thinking that’s discrimination?

I have my performance review today but I already know I did not get a promotion. I already have a job offer waiting and this really sealed the deal for me. My question is, what’s the classiest way to quit while still showing I’m disappointed? I want to quit on the spot but I know that might now be the wisest move. Any advice?

Hi Meta people! I had started interviewing for a product growth analyst role- and I was told I made it to another round. I waited for weeks- even delaying other interviews so I could give meta a fair shot (not a huge sacrifice on my end but wanted to note this). The recruiter kept telling me there’s a “delay” or not enough interviewers, and finally today let me know that they’ve already filled the position :( is this normal Facebook (Meta) ? To get rejected despite being told you progressed?
