How soon to follow up after sending a resume directly to a partner? A week? I got to a third interview with a different firm and expect an offer to come in..

I am so beyond ready to leave my current job, but can’t yet, since bonuses are paid out in January. 😬

In the meantime, I’ve applied to a lot of similar roles (slightly higher) but have not heard - good or bad - from any. Is it common for companies to slow down hiring in December because of Q4 rush, people on holiday, etc.?

Completed onsite interviews for the TAM role and recruiter gave me feedback that my technical depth wasn’t up to par for the role but my googleness/leadership and GCA interview feedback was stellar so they plan to propose me for Cloud PM roles instead. Does this happen? Or are they just being nice? What’s the probability that they’ll match me to another role?

So is it just hr round or they will take another interview on technical skills.

Just got an interview call for Telecom consultant role in Infosys.

HR asked for video interview and I dont mind that. I replied the HR that panel also puts on their web cam. It's not a healthy way to communicate during inteview when panel remains on audio (and perhaps in their shorts and baniyan ) :D

I feel I am the best candidate and they’ve expressed that I’d be in the top 2 as well and would be having a final interview this week, but said they’d have to reach out to HR to see what they could do about salary first. Here we are on Friday and have not heard back. What would you guys do? Not a fan of corporate games.

I started a new job a month ago and I hate it! I hate the culture (there is no culture) the way that they communicate (no meetings everything in slack) and the way that they work (alone) It feels pretty much like I am freelancing and I thrive in collaborative environment. I have never felt this isolated in my whole life. It sucks.
Has anyone been in that situation? If I look for another job, should I remove that experience from my linked in? Or should I talk about that if I get interviews?

Inflation costs are killing my pipeline. Many of my deals are scaling back greatly because of their rising operating costs.

How do we overcome the inflation objection? I mean obviously the answer is to show how much value we offer, but how do we do that when all of the companies we work with barely have enough funding?

Received an offer from a small firm for 25k more than my current salary. Problem is it is about an hour away and I’m required to go into the office a minimum of 2 days a week. I’m not necessarily unhappy at my current firm but I started looking for other opportunities because I was curious what other firms were offering.
