$38 pay raise per pay period, not bad

M1: based on the average number of hours worked it's $0.38 per hour. I got better raises as a bagger at grocery store.

I'm right there with you, fought the good fight all year and it blew up in my face. Hopefully I'll learn my lesson this year. Client needs after hours help? Sorry, can't do it. You need referrals? Don't know anyone. Need last minute volunteers for the cause de jour? Sorry I'm busy.

TBH: not really complaining but just dumfounded at the amount.

Ha, next year you'll remember to bring the lube to your comp discussion

M1: what kind of lube do you prefer for your comp discussions, Or are you the hardcore no lube type? Lol

M1, thanks, I've been working on not giving a fuck. I'm a slow learner though.

I asked for a raise at the 9 month mark at my company. There has been a lot of turnover and I have had to assist with the workload from 2 vacant roles for months. I am the most tenured person on the team. My salary is 80K. I asked for a 25K salary bump with the expectation that they would meet me in the middle. They gave me $1,500 and a $3,500 merit increase for my 1 year mark. Did I ask for too much? Please share your thoughts. Thank you.
