I was sponsored, and at my very pricey MBA there was definitely an extreme over representation of trust fund kids and people whose families casually drove a lambo, owned a mansion or sailed their boats in the weekends.
Took $200k in loans. Doubled my salary from 100 to 200k on graduation. Had everything paid off 4 years post grad and was making close to 300k. Devoted half of pay bumps and 75% of bonus to loans but hardly lived frugally. Bought a house, built a family, traveled

They borrow money, and pay it back slowly over time

Try Prodigy Finance. Started by some INSEAD peeps to help finance MBAs. Dunno if they do US programmes.
Sign your life to the devil and pay back until the day you die (student loans) 😂.
Banks or the government.
Exec MBAs are intended to be sponsored by your firm. Cost (in pre Covid environment) was not an issue if you were sponsored.

My case:
- 30k savings
- 10k summer internship and some diverse sources
- 60k fellowship
- 90k loan paid back 1Y after graduation
Coming from a country with shitty job market, the numbers ended up checking out pretty nicely

They borrow money from legitimized loan sharks.
Loans. You can indenture yourself for a few years to a company, or you take a loan from the bank and repay over the next 10-20 years
Some firms like Deloitte also pay off your 2nd year tuition if you intern and sign full time with them. Combine that with sunmer intern income, potential scholarships, TA income, loans, you can make it happen.
Scholarship + bank of mom & dad
Get your firm to pay it

$200k is a bit of an exaggeration, closer to $100-$150k max if you really go all out on lifestyle.
I’m shocked at how few people had savings to help pay for it. I came from federal government work, made $50k before school, had a bit of a merit scholarship at M7 and was able to pay for most of my tuition with savings. Consulting internship payed like $20k + they give you the full time signing bonus right away, so that pays for a big chunk of your second year.
I thought it was laughable how many people came from consulting or banking making 4x+ what I made and had zero savings to contribute bc of the crazy lifestyles they had. I lived the roommate/shitty apartment lifestyle for 4 years and definitely came out on top
Had my last company pay for it, then I left.
Which company?
I went to a T2 MBA and got a 50% scholarship. The rest is loans. Fewer scholarships for int'l students but they exist. I've known several int'l women to get forte fdn scholarships. For underepresented populations the Consortium is a good resource

Student loans.
A lot of companies are reducing or stopping MBA sponsorships even before covid.
Why not do one in UK /EU? Plenty of good b-schools and much cheaper
