Put things back where the belong as soon as you are done with them and force yourself to spend the 10-30 mins each night doing laundry/dishes/tidying/etc.
Or say fuck that bc your time is likely with more the cost of paying someone else since you work in consulting. Get a maid to come each Monday when you leave and come home to a clean place to fuck up all over again.
On my dining table or couch, because I know it just gets repacked on Sunday night.
Just donāt put things on your dining table or couch, whatās the issue?
I do the same... I just keep my suitcase in a corner. š¤·āāļødonāt touch anything I donāt need on the weekend until I repack and reorganize the stuff back to where it goes
If itās just the laundry...Maybe you have a nice old lady neighbor you can pay $10-20 to come repack your laundry as soon as you are done washing it.
Just keep your laundry in a hamper and the rest of your suitcase in a discreet corner somewhere. What gets thrown on the dining room table or couch?

Keep lots of cleaning supplies around
Do laundry, run dishwasher and tidy up when things are 1/3 full or dirty
I say, if I see something I clean something. Just do tiny things that take a minute as you go about your day.
I'll try the do little things! Otherwise I'm just constantly stressed
Also - not all people who clean are women. I get a lot of men as my Handy pros who come through. Let's try harder to check our language! I know I do it a lot too.

Who said all cleaning pros are women? I said maid not woman. Iāve used plenty of maid services that send men. I you are being a bit bias if you think maid = woman.
Also, when I said nice old lady neighbor I literally meant just that as an example. Just like when If I had said college student neighbor I would have meant that as an example.
Letās stop making assumptions that people are not being gender neutral and didnāt mean what they wrote.
Hey KPMG 1, itās not a personal attack on you since I didnāt associate the comments with the poster. Iām sorry if you felt that I did. I will say however, that the definition of āmaidā is female, so even if your intention was not to indicate such, it is being interpreted in a gendered way
