I’ve got a few interviews next week with PwC Strategy& but they are part of a larger hiring event that seem to all interview with the PwC new equation/professional framework. The recruiter gave me a prep guide but it just says situational interviews..I thought it was supposed to be more case focused? Anyone have any insight or is this how they are interviewing across the board now for consulting roles?
Coworker one position below me just quit. I'm expecting to pick of the majority of his work, in addition to mine. How do I use this to my advantage and negotiate increase pay or responsibility?
I have a salary range in mind for a new role based on online research and target increase from my comp now. But my research shows the data points are for salaries in HCOL areas. Do I need to adjust what I ask for if it’s a remote role and I’m not in HCOL city? Don’t want to overshoot and lose a great opportunity.
Any advice for someone looking to transition into a full HR Generalist role from Recruiting. I’m currently a Campus Recruiter with about 5 years of HR experience (Coordinator- Higher Ed). Haven't coded in python in months despite being an analytics consultant and I forgot so much about it, especially as I prepare for interviews I need to get out of consulting. I am losing hard skills and it's clear my firm doesn't value them (even though they are clearly misleading applicants and posting so many job openings for data scientists.......)
6th year L&E associate here and thinking about transitioning to a position with better WLB. How do you go about getting a government job and are they flexible about WFH, at least a couple of days a week? Recruiters reach out all the time, but always about other firm positions. Tips/ advice much appreciated!

How do you guys spend time after your last interview and before you hear back? The anticipation is killing my husband and I want to help him 🙂
Got asked today best way to gather our own (agency's) 1st party data. My first thought is develop our own pixel to capture user data (ip, email, device ID) and store that in a database, then use it later for targeting through a LiveRamp or similar. No idea if this is right or there's a better way or where I'd start my research. Anyone want to point me in some sort of direction?
Hey Fishes, trying to benchmark my salary here… senior associate, advisory, tier 2 city, big 4, 7 yoe in consulting, although less in the current community. What would be a good range?
Chase UR is migrating systems, so they might not be able to find recent rewards bookings. Ask for a specialist if you have that issue - saved me a lot of time!
Is asset management a difficult path post-MBA? Are there any lucrative finance roles outside of IB that are available to T15 MBA grads?
Went to Cornell and everyone jokes around saying it’s not a real ivy. Do people actually think it’s a bad school or is it just a lighthearted joke?
Best spg property in Paris?
Anyone else find it interesting how easy it is to recognize people wearing masks over much of their faces? Good lesson for bank robbers. The eyes have it!
Anybody work at Amazon? Are their offers negotiable? My husband got an offer for a senior position in the VA office paying $120k plus $20k bonus plus 13 shares of stock that vest over 4 years. My husband has ~6 years of experience (2 yrs midsize PA plus various industry roles) so the senior title is low but have heard you have to take a step down in title to work at Fortune 25 companies. He likes the offer but not sure if he should negotiate for more because it’s expected?
I had the most charge hours of anyone in my office (over 250 consulting staff) for the 2020 calendar year. Is this something I can/should reflect on my resume that could look good in the interview process?
In the past two weeks my work has picked up 10x what it was previously. Now I’m working 70+ hr weeks and often my projects are submitted nearly before deadline since I’m shuffling multiple at once. My team is understaffed and there’s no plan to hire people due to COVID-19. How do you manage to tackle the day instead of let it tackle you? I feel like no one knows how much I’m suffering since I’m WFH’ing and try to relay positive emotions over FaceTime or messages.
Did you know? “Women receive ‘negative personality criticism’, such as being called bossy or told to ‘watch their tone’ in around 75% of performance reviews. Men, on the other hand, rarely do.” From https://cultureplusconsulting.com/2018/03/10/gender-bias-work-assertiveness-double-bind/
Looking for an Accenture referral, thanks.
