Do any of the above recruit at UT? I would imagine they do
Be able to talk (yes this includes lying) about leadership experience and extracurriculars. During my interview that was the only thing they seemed to care about despite my, arguably more interesting, research experience.
Find the campus recruiter... Speak to the campus recruiter... Apply for the position... Interview for the role... it’s a fairly well-worn path.
To those above, UT is a good enough school to get hired at any consulting firm - target for all of the firms. But it’s really big and you’re competing for a small number of slots.
Why not EY? Bit hurtful.
EY and all big 4 as well my friend.
They need to be stars at UT. Deloitte and Accenture typically only hire 1-3 interns per year at mid tier state schools while they hire 10-15 FT. I’d recommend they go to every single networking event hosted by those firms and get people to recognize them, socialize, and ask excellent thought provoking questions etc.
A2 it’s specifically the business school, and it’s very well known.
UT grad here. It's a bit difficult for students outside of the business or engineering school. If they are going into their junior year, attend the McCombs career fair (held in the Fall, usually at the Rec Center). If they are in the business school, apply via OCR (on campus recruiting) and make sure to follow up. You can go in the Spring for a Summer internship as well, but there are even less slots. Feel free to DM with questions.
