Hey Everyone,
I am doing a part time MBA program and for one of the coursework I am trying to understand the challenges people faced while transitioning from WFH to Back to office model.
I've created a small questionnaire and will really appreciate if you can spare 10 minutes of your time for the same.

You get into investment banking while you are in school through an internship (between junior and senior year) and then with a full time offer post graduation.
Degree doesn’t really matter so long as you have very good grades. You learn everything on the job. Some of my best analysts were history majors.
If you are already a couple years out of school your best bet will be to go to bschool.
So you’re about 2 years out. It will be near impossible getting into a bulge bracket or elite boutique at this point. You may be able to get into a regional small bank as a first year analyst.
My recco would be to try and get into a good (top 15) MBA program that places well into IB but note this will take some time. CFA won’t help at all neither will taking finance courses as you learn 99% from the job. Unfortunately our recruiting comes nearly exclusively from school. If you start studying for GMAT now you can apply this fall for a 2022 MBA start date, 2023 internship, 2024 full time as an associate.
Depends what you want to do. Many come in as a class of analysts from colleges. Then they rotate through different departments/desks. Some will stay after the program and most will leave. How many years have you been out of college? Do you have any financial courses?
Holding the CFA charter will require finance work experience. A grueling exam also with limited carry depending on what field in finance you’re interested in
Have you graduated?
Science degree is fine for investment banking. If you’ve graduated it’s more about your experience
