Hello! I recently finished a Master of Public Health from the University of Waterloo and I’m currently working as a Policy Analyst for the federal government. I’m really intrigued by healthcare consulting and would love to learn more about Canadian opportunities for that if anyone is willing to chat! I'm currently working for a fintech firm as SQL Developer which has got me into a toxic working culture(zero support from colleges) with no learnings so far.

Although, I'm from a Commerce domain..I wanted to move into Data Analytics so I learned SQL and Tableau on my own to get myself better Data Analytic job opportunities to build my career in.

However, without any live projects and hands on experience on the tool, I could only learn a few things about these two mentioned tools. So

~1 Year consulting experience, post MBA-- what kind of exits should I be targeting?
Will I largely be relegated to my pre-MBA industry?
If new industry, am I looking at analyst or entry level positions? Any tips as I search (e.g. courses to learn skills)?

Hi all, how far back does background check go for McK EH @ Associate level? I want to start making calls to track down my supervisor from a company which no longer exists if the check goes really far back. Also, I currently work for a F10 company, so considering its size, is it possible that the BG check can be done without my employer being notified (or they call some general HR hotline so my supervisor won’t know I’m leaving)? How long does the BG check process take?
