Sounds very familiar. A lot of less qualified men are hired above or promoted faster than myself/women in my office. I have tried to point this out, it doesn’t really go anywhere. I’d say it’s just time to look elsewhere. I recognize that for the place I work at.. I’m doing well right now so I accept it for this time in life.
MEN ARE JUDGED BASED ON THEIR POTENTIAL; WOMEN ARE JUDGED BASED ON THEIR PAST PERFORMANCE. Apologies for all cap - pasted an article heading from 5 years ago… doesn’t seem like there has been much improvement since then😞
Hi fishies! I work for an early-stage Fintech startup called Fennel; (www.fennel.com) focused on impact investing as well as shareholder activism and giving every day investors the tools they need to make informed and aligned decisions. I'm wondering what others in the industry think of this space and about ESG, given that there has been a lot of relevant media attention recently & would love to know if people make investment decisions based on factors like workforce equity, ceo pay, etc?
Sounds like it’s time to change firms 🤷🏻♀️
