I practice in a different state where the obligation to inform Medicaid is on us, and it is easy to set up a subro claim. We are essentially an outsourced controller for our largest client. The owner is taking MASSIVE amounts of distributions over and above income. He’s essentially financed $1M in distributions from his LOC. We have spoken to him multiple times about this and the behavior never stops. What would you do here? Fire your largest client? Do you feel your reputation would be affected when this behavior comes to light? Inevitably it will when he bankrupts the company one day.

How do you guys manage to disconnect and reset/refresh during weekends/vacation? I’m constantly thinking about work, worried about my performance, trying to learn more to play catch up, competing with my peers like no tomorrow, thinking about how I’m not doing enough BD work like my peers, having my ass handed to me in client meetings..it never ends. I want to relax on weekends, but just end up being depressed and in bed most of the times.

Something I’m struggling with as it relates to the rise of the “Karens”. I get it, Karens suck and are very real but why is it that women always have to deal with this kind of stereotype? Men, especially Trumpian white men, are just as bad about their own privilege. Maybe they handle it differently or maybe people are less inclined to record them? I don’t know. But somehow it feels like yet another divide between women. Just wish we could make it less about gender and more about privilege.

Have any vets here been able to join MBB at the post-MBA level with only an undergraduate degree? I have anecdotally heard of this being done before, however the person who made it happen was an officer. For context, I'm a prior enlisted SOF vet with a little under 10 years of service currently finishing a summer role with M.
