What is FAAS? I started a year back and we have had PAS (people advisory services) and advisory support in some projects.
Financial accounting advisory service under assurance but provide advisory work
The most relevant areas of TAS for financial accounting work would be the working capital practice. I would reach out to contacts in that space and let them know you would be interested in getting staffed on a project. TAS is pushing the whole “one EY” thing because we are very small and though the highest growing area, advisory, audit and tax provide the bulk of revenues. The value you would bring is the financial accounting aspect that truthfully a lot of people don’t know and the prospect of cross-selling. My two cents.
Why about corporate finance/treasury function. Does TAS have this function ? Also how big is TAS in nyc ?
We’re divided into generalist, value creation, working capital, customers, supply chain, etc. It’s not so much by function but by work focus. All areas work with functions within companies like HR, finance, etc. It’s pretty small (don’t know exact number) but fast growing. Last year we had an intern class of 8, this year it’s 30 something.
