This totally made my day!

Let them build a fort in the living room. It will keep them occupied for days.

This is the situation in our house now!!

My mother used to have us do “scribble pictures” on rainy days. She’d draw loose loopy lines over a clean sheet of paper and have us color in each section with a different color crayon.

Traceing layers of their hands works too.

Check out Brain Pop Jr., Scholastic and even Highlights (taking it way back). ABC Mouse even gives you a free 30 day trial. All helpful.

We also have been doing neighborhood scavenger hunts - gets them out and in fresh air in a safe way. Ton of lists online.

Lego apocalypse here.

Second the Lego apocalypse. 6 year old has been challenging his friends to Lego building contests via FaceTime-good way to suck up a few hours

Legos, magnet toys, chalk outside. Coloring, painting, reading books.

Amazon free time is also great with the kid’s kindles.

My kids love Prodigy for online math learning (set up as a game). Kahn academy is also great source for online learning

Learn a new language...have kiddos write items around the house in new language on Post its and place them on those items. Tell kids to say them out loud several times during the day. Have each one recite at least 10 that they remember at dinner / after dinner each day. Maybe write them as well as the others recite. Say them together.

Make new notes every day or every couple of days.

Udemy (an online video training site) is offering a free online video class to Scratch 2.0/3.0. Scratch is block-based programming system-which allow kids ages 7+ to code with ease. Kids without any previous coding experience will enjoy this easy fun class, which teaches you how to create some neat games. While at home this is a great opportunity to bond with family members while teaching them how to code. Go STEM... Quick video about Scratch Udemy.

any insight into how a pmm skillset is different from a brand strategist one? of course the pmm applies insights to and influences the product, but it seems like a lot of the core elements - research, understanding the user, generating insights, developing messaging and angles to speak to them, etc are super similar. interested in transitioning and I want to understand where my gaps are!

Seriously thinking of taking a 6 mo sabbatical and getting away from it all for a while next year. Potentially travel around the world in Q3 / Q4 presuming the pandemic situation has improved.
