This totally made my day!
Let them build a fort in the living room. It will keep them occupied for days.
This is the situation in our house now!!
My mother used to have us do “scribble pictures” on rainy days. She’d draw loose loopy lines over a clean sheet of paper and have us color in each section with a different color crayon.

Learn a new language...have kiddos write items around the house in new language on Post its and place them on those items. Tell kids to say them out loud several times during the day. Have each one recite at least 10 that they remember at dinner / after dinner each day. Maybe write them as well as the others recite. Say them together.
Make new notes every day or every couple of days.
