Your body needs calories and carbs to exercise. As long as you are in a calorie deficit (you burn more calories than you eat) then you should be still losing weight. But definitely don't starve yourself.

This past Wednesday (the 24th), was 3 years of sobriety for me.

In 15 years of weekend binge/blackout drinking, NEVER had I gone more than 3 weeks without a drink (typically never more than 1 weekend without a drink), and now my sobriety is counted in years (though still one day at a time).

I am beyond grateful and I know that this is something I could never do on my own.

Any advice for asking to work from home?
I started my job just over a month ago and the one day a week I work from home I absolutely love. I have an hour commute to the office all other days and I'd love to even just get one more day at home. My manager is not aware of my adhd and I have crippling fear and shame around it so I'd rather not tell him. The office environment I'm in is honestly any neuroduvergent's nightmare. I know it's probably wrong to not tell him but I don't want any judgement.

We did a medicated frozen transfer last year that resulted in a positive beta and subsequent chemical miscarriage. Now we’re about to start our second transfer, but doing it “natural” this time. Anyone have experience doing both? If the natural transfers work just as well...why do drs not push for that first?!

Hey All, looking for guidance related to fiber supplements. Little background on myself, I lift 6 days a week, HIIT 3x weekly, tennis 3x weekly, and golf (walking only) 1-2x weekly. I went to the Dr. for my annual physical, and my weight was way higher than I thought it would. As active as I am and as healthy as I eat, I’m quite surprised. I hope this post fits here... my son (who is exclusively breastfed) is allergic to cows milk protein, so I'm having to suddenly go from a high dairy diet to a no dairy diet. I started to dramatically reduce my calorie intake in hopes to lose weight. Like most, I gained almost 60 pounds during the pandemic. On top of that I hurt my back (herniated disc).

i’m at about 1500-1800 calories. I was usually around 3000 cal. I’m 6’4 and 275 pounds.

I have a fair amount of muscle under my fat. With reducing my calorie intake so much do I run a risk of losing my muscle before my fat?

So I’ve been on keto for 2 weeks, both weeks I felt horrible. I had migraines through the week 1, and stomach cramps through the week 2. I didn’t eat much, and all I lost through this 2 weeks - 1 lbs (started with 170). I’m in ketosis according to stick-test. And I’m working out 3 times a week.
