I’ve had several times in my life that anxiety peaked but I didn’t need to go on meds. My anxiety is back and stronger than ever. My heart rate is constantly high, I can’t sleep, and have nightmares for weeks now. It literally paralyzes me that I can’t do anything some days. I’m thinking about going to psychiatrist but afraid of being on meds. Anybody here can tell me what is their experience with anxiety medications (advantages, side effects)?
