Company can revise your offer, you can go and tell this is what other company is willing to offer. If you give me same or near to it, then I'm giving assurance I won't join any other organisation, I will be committed to your organization only.
Actually same happened to me for time being hr gave me some X package, now in between I informed her that other company is giving me more than you, she said she will revise offer letter 15 days prior to date of joining I need to call her, as per we had discussion, but she said she will give more that what I asked,
Reason - at end point I'm telling her that I want this much offer, so definitely she will stick to words
I hope this help you!
Thanks for your reply...so if I am having second offer for 53% , can I ask Capgemini to give 70% ?
Not sure if companies see this re-re-negotiation strategy with a positive mindset. In my org, we have stopped recruiting those who come to negotiate on already-held offers.
Which company is it?
How much % hike you got while revised offer letter..
Hmm what is the hike in first offer letter? Is big difference or 3-5%? If it's not a big difference, I don't know if I would risk it it if you want first offer job. Also what is the company? Some are not flexible with negotiations I heard.
In first offer letter it's 15% hike + 1.5 lakhs joining bonus. company is Capgemini.
Second oFfer letter gives 53% hike but I really want to join Capgemini. Please suggest.
Why not take the better offer? Even with renegotiation, it is unlikely that they will add more than 50%.
But second company is not that big and I also heard that yearly increment is not good there.
I would ask Capgemini to match rather than go for full 70% OR go the full 70% but expect that they will end up somewhere in the middle. It's worth trying to renegotiate but they may not end up going for it so be careful how much you push
I am expecting one more offer letter by this week..if I get more than 60% in that, then I can ask for 70%..I believe..
