Don’t be afraid to ask questions so you get the answers you need. Make sure you know what your manager is looking for in terms of your role, and what good performance looks like. Poke around on the server if that’s an option. Basically, be a sponge and your own advocate. Most places I’ve worked have thrown me straight into the deep end and that’s just kind of the name of the game. Take it a day at a time and before you know it, you’ll know what you’re doing.

Ask for meet and greets with all the People in your orbit. Ask for 39 mins of their time. They may be unfamiliar w the custom, but just say it’s how you got to know people at your pay job. Learn what they do, hear their story. The more ppl you talk to, the more you’ll start to out the puzzle pieces of the org together.

Living in Van. Previously lived in Toronto. Obviously rent prices are high as is cost of living. Generally go out and spend more often living in a city. Boyfriend and I on good salary but not saving much due to the above. Before we move home to our own country, we’d love to spend a year close to Vancouver where rent is cheaper, temptation is less, to save. A commute to Vancouver 1-2 times a month needs to be possible (his job). That can be a flight if it’s not crazy. Thoughts? Recommendations?

Just got an offer I’m pretty excited about - based on my research the comp seems to align with this level, but wanted to post here as well. The job is a title & salary bump - Paid Search Manager $90k. I’m based in Atlanta GA. Is this typical for this level? Above average?
