I started working in an organization starting from June this year after passing from college as an IT Trainee till now its almost 6 months but still I haven't learned anything just the team members give me small works like testing code changes and checking database. I'm currently attending lot of interviews, some interviewers are courteous, introduced them, their work experience, what they do and then ask me to introduce myself. While there are interviewers who don't even tell their name or anything, just join the interview and start asking questions, some interviewers don't even apologize if they join late.
One thing I noted is, these guys are generally not managers or HR, someone who have 1 or 2 years more experience than me.
Any experiences?

My college's HoD forwarded a mail for on campus placement of hsbc for batch of 23, she knew that I am very interested in jobs in financial institutions(like banks etc). I spoke with her, she told me, "fill up toh karde, fir HSBC ke haath meh". So, I filled it up and applied for hsbc.

I’ve been applying to companies for PM Roles. Literally 3-4 companies contacted now asking for assignments (metrics or product sense) to be submitted in 1-2 days, as first/second round. I’m stuck in the thought of finishing all of it, amidst my busy day job 😑. Why are companies doing this? Aren’t interviews simple and time effective?

Does anyone know if there is a modified, more condensed way to input the new K-3 information from a K-1 on a 1040 so that our staff aren’t having to input every single country’s information. Can we put it all to something like Other and then attach the K-3s or a statement saying available upon request? I also have 3 years as an AP person in a multinational tech firm before public. Not sure if I should focus on corporate tax analyst roles, GL, or SEC reporting. Or if I should try to jumó to Diana cual analyst. Mainly want to make more money and work like 35-40 hours (currently at 70k). No CPA yet but working on exam.

Personally I was able to make more money, work less than I was and spend more time with family 😬
