I don't find tattoos unprofessional; I might however, find your specific tattoos stupid.
Just rip the band-aid off, it's the end of the world anyway. Nothing like an unexpected surprise to break the ice.
Well, it's about to get even hotter out 🥵😍
Lol ok ya I see that now 🙃
Are they offensive?
If not go to town
Good conversation starter! In my mind I’d imagine how you and your tattoos will look like in 20, 30, 40 years, but that’s a different story. Generally, for me: Workplace or not… each their own, I don’t mind it at all (and more than often don’t even realize someone has tattoos… it’s like having earrings to me).
I have tattoos and love them - unless you have something highly offensive tattooed on you, I would go for it.
I always get questions about mine. Good ice breakers/conversation starters, but it can get annoying sometimes, especially after explaining them a few times.
Same. But depending who I am with may try an alternative story for it hahaha
I don’t have tattoos myself but if I saw my coworker with them I would think it’s cool and move on

I don’t think there’s many people around in this day and age who would find tattoos unprofessional, unless you tattooed a bad word or something really inappropriate on yourself
I think tattoos may be unprofessional in the work environment. If I’ve never seen you in a t-shirt and view you as a professional individual, seeing them while you’re in at-shirt tells me you have some other layers of character and can maintain a professional perception while in the workplace. So you’re able to fit in the mold and understand your role at work, I see nothing negative with tattoos outside the workplace as long as you don’t wear anything offensive.

In this day and age, I don’t think your run of the mill tattoo would be seen as unprofessional, and even so this will only be a semi-professional setting. As long as it isn’t intentionally and actively offensive (e.g. a neck FUCK YOU VERY MUCH tattoo), I don’t think it will be an issue, and it can even make great conversation.
