How unreliable has glassdoor become for salaries? Or reliable? I see some TC on here that's insanely higher than glassdoor. Is it just due to recent hot hiring, are people inflating their own egos, or is glassdoor just not that reliable anymore.

I checked my own position and I'm on the higher end of the spectrum for my position at my company which makes sense with my YoE and exposure in the company, but still within the expected comp of the role.

I've been reading that other brands (e.g Britax, MaxiC) do not have a base and remain in the car. So how to Britax car seat parents move/carry their infants around? Just got offered a remote job with a startup for $75k base + 2k stock options, and benefits (100% covered insurance, wellness, 401(K) (no match 🥲) and tons more, BUT I enjoy the company I’m at and the people. The company I’m at wants me to move to either NYC or SF. I would taking almost a 11% pay cut but at least I wouldn’t pay rent or get taxed NYC/CA tax since I’d be in Florida! I had my first few rounds of Technical interview at Accenture couple of days back.
In today's HR interview, the HR tells me that we can't proceed with my interview since the amount of CTC they've fixed for my level (Level 11) is lesser than what I'm already earning.
During the pre interview round, the HR had offered me my expected CTC.
I don't understand why someone would do that.

I’ve worked as a Creative for over 10 years, but have never worked with a truly dedicated and knowledgeable project manager. Because of this, I’ve often taken on those responsibilities myself and have found I might actually make a better PM than a creative (I think I like it more too). Has anyone made the switch from Creative to Project Management? I know the creative process extremely well at this point and feel confident I could help unknot any agency’s project management methodology.

Has anyone pivoted from teaching? My wife is thinking about a career shift to something with more money. She has 6 YOE between schools in the US and UK. She also has a masters in educational psychology. The typical advice she’s been getting is tutoring and mentoring, however this defeats the purpose of leaving education. Any thoughts and/or experiences would be much appreciated!
