Hi Team, I got interviewed in LTI and I got confirmation mail from HR that I am selected for discussed role and they want my documents to go ahead for offer letter. 2 weeks they didn't respond me and stopped taking my calls and now HR said position is on hold after and under review, I am serving my notice period in current company since I resigned after offer and didn't give any interview in between because offer and HR was really promising.

A few months ago, I changed consulting firms and have regretted it. I have been interviewing again, hoping this time to find a better fit & exit consulting. I also moved 2 weeks ago. I’ve been feeling very unsettled lately and unlike myself. I know it’s all of the change in such a short amount of time. But it’s making me feel like I’m a stranger to myself & that I’m alone. Has anyone else gone through similar feelings? I’m missing comfort, stability, and familiarity but I don’t have those now.

My husband complained that he can't ever think of what to buy me for my birthday - am I wrong to feel sad about this? I spend a lot of time planning out gifts (I always have a running list of ideas) and surprise him with things that he wants. There is so much that I would love to get as a gift and can easily make a long wish list... but then it feels like the time and effort is being pushed back on me rather than gift giving being a thoughtful act.

Currently M at ACN Strat about to get SM (eq. to principal) promotion by EoY - id say 80% probability. Got an offer to join S&, but it's at M-1 level. TC would be roughly comparable between ACN SM and S& M. Interested by the move and potential higher client profiles exposure with S&, but worried of a) potentially delaying the time to Partner/MD b) exit ops limited at M level compared to SM/principal c) cross continent mobility seems difficult at S&.
