How will federal contracts be impacted because of COVID? I'm on the beach & slightly nervous.

I’ve lost 70 pounds since the beginning of COVID (March 2020)! So proud of myself! I’ve never felt this great, physically and mentally!

Is anyone else experiencing a new wave of covid anxiety due to the stress of figuring out the holidays? Got in an argument with a family member about safety guidelines and testing needing to happen and I’ve been feeling paralyzed by anxiety all day.

Torn between immediately being a hoe or wanting to first get my body back in shape post COVID isolation.

Is anyone familiar with a theory that covid tests are poison? We have a family member that won’t even test because she believes the nasal swap is dangerous and infected with something. She is the only one I’ve heard this theory from and am wondering what she’s talking about.

Anyone got some ideas for stuff to do between end of current job and start of new one? Feel like covid has sucked my adventure away 🤦‍♀️ and want to do some stuff before things get hectic.

I graduated from GSU majoring in Film and Art. I have begun studying Art Direction at a portfolio school that is unexpectedly closing down. Prior to Covid, I had been in commercial casting in Atlanta for almost 10 years. Now, I’m in the process of polishing my portfolio as well as creating new book worthy material (on my own). So I have been offered a job at multinational company as a Data Engg. It was a part of the hiring event, and literally got selected with a VERY VERY SIMPLE technical assessment, and a 45 minute interview.

Does anyone have experience working for a ALSP? How does compensation work (pay and benefits)? Are you an employee or technically an IC? Do you have billable requirements like at a firm? How do you think it prepared you to potentially move in house? I'm currently at a firm but thinking of taking a position with an ALSP but my goal is to go in house.

I am Product Owner, and have an opportunity to change my Title to "Product Manager". The actual work I'm doing will not change significantly, it's just a Title change, since I've been working less and less with the scrum teams and doing more product analysis over the last year. My main goal with this is to ensure this looks good on my CV. My thought is a Product Manager role seems more senior to a product owner. Any thoughts on this and any advice on how to approach this? Looking for advice: been at my new job for about 6 months and absolutely hate it. I’m overworked and underpaid. Hello all, need some advice. Am currently working for a government consulting agency, but wishing to leave due to the way the project is being managed...I am in at least 4-5 hours of meetings a day, so barely have time to prepare for demos, preparation of slides for the client, nevermind being able to write decent stories(tickets)... Usually have to rush writing requirements, steps, etc, ...
